Accounting Countdown...8 hours to go

In the grand scheme of life, it's just one test.   It's not going to make or break any of us.  But in the bubble of grad school, this test takes on much more meaning than any of us would like to admit.  It's the countless hours spent in break out rooms, reading, learning, working through practice problems, and reviewing.  It's the frustration and fear that all of the work and effort will not translate into success on the final exam.  I'm ready to take it now...but there's still 8 hours left to stress.  I try to keep a level head but it's all relative when you know this one exam determines your grade.  The uncertainty and knowledge that the teacher "takes no prisoners" and includes material "just to throw you off" keeps me on edge.

BUT once it is over tonight at 9:00 pm I will be exstatic.  A weight will be lifted off of my shoulders and I will know that one of the tougher classses in grad school is behind me.
